All of our complete restorations come with a 10-year guarantee on our workmanship and application process against the paint flaking or peeling, and the ridge capping from cracking or peeling.
The products we use from Shieldcoat also come with a 10-year guarantee against the paint flaking or peeling, and the ridge capping from cracking or peeling.
Cleaning the roof with a high-pressure water blaster, it is expected that some water will shoot under the roof tile into the ceiling cavity, this is not something to be alarmed at, and is part of our every day experience. We take every precaution to prevent this happening, and are not responsible for any internal damage to cielings, downlights, sarking, insulation batts or electricity wiring. In most cases this will simply dry out within an hour and we’re happy to wipe up any visible drips that come inside the ceiling, however this is rare.
We provide exceptional detail upon cleaning up the property after the tiles and gutters have been cleaned. Our goal is to rinse every bit of dirt that has come from off the roof onto below property (walls, windows, footpaths, verandah, gardens) however we do not water down plants or flowers, as the pressure of the machine could damage the plants. In most cases, this will be removed with the next shower of rain.
We guarantee leaks with our complete restorations for a 12 month period, however, we are not liable for any leaks or water ingress incurred after stated period, as there’s many variables or third-parties that can contribute to this. We’re happy to help in any case, however a $350 callout fee is required to inspect leaks after 12-month period of restoration.
When painting, please understand that we have been doing this a long time, and we are aware of any over-spray that will occur in the painting process. Over-spray is the light wafts of paint that carry in the wind, this is standard in our industry, and we take all precautions that this entails, and have never had a problem with this aspect, as we rely on our experience and professionalism. We ask that you ideally move cars onto the street, however we can cover them with drop sheets in any case.
We cover all solar-panels, and paint up under them, about 6”, and leave it neat and uniform. This is the standard procedure that we know works.
If you have an outside dog or pets, please be aware that the first day of cleaning, there will be dirt and water falling from the gutter line, as we clean out interior of gutters etc.
We need access to around the back of the property on the first day of cleaning to detail clean the ground. We also need clear access to a tap at the front of the property. We also need access to a 240v power outlet thoughout the job. We suggest to clients to leave a power lead hanging under the garage door, or out a side window, ensure that it’s on, and we have extensions leads to get around the front.
